Customer Islanding
Engineering Recommendation (EREC) G99 Islanding Modification
This modification has been approved by the Distribution Code Review Panel to assess and provide Customer and Stakeholder guidance on the requirements of islanding single premises. This will include requirements on safe detection, operation and re-synchronisation of the installation once supply can be safely reinstated. This process must be available through a manual process for customers who wish to island their installations voluntarily, guidance will be integrated into a revised version of EREC G99.
