DCRP/24/01/MP Minor technical modifications to EREC G98 and G99

The modifications proposed here are a series of issues raised since the last modifications to EREC G98 and G99. They span all Types of Power Generating Modules (PGM), ie Types A – D and include some new requirements as well as clarifications to existing requirements. This proposal also includes minor associated modifications to the Distribution Code.

The RTA was drafted and approved by the DCRP before submission to Ofgem on 7 October 2024, the modification was then approved 24 February 2025, with an agreed publication date of 10 March 2025.

DCRP/MP/24/05 EREC G99 SAF v11

The Standard Application Form (SAF) is a formal document used for applying to connect Power Generating Modules—such as solar, wind, battery storage, and other electricity generation technologies—to the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) networks in the UK. It is used in accordance with Engineering Recommendation (EREC) G99, which governs such connections.

This form is intended for Generators (customers developing or modifying generation facilities) whose equipment exceeds 16 A per phase and falls under the scope of G99. It covers a wide range of generation sizes and types, specifically:
